Moving In

What happens when it’s time to move in?

Close to your tenancy start date the lettings team will contact you with all of the details you will need about booking a key collection appointment. You must book an appointment with us. Your house will have been decorated and professionally cleaned ready for the first day of your tenancy.

You must provide the member of staff who is carrying out your move-in appointment an original form of identification on the day. Details of what is acceptable can be found here. This is legally required and without it we cannot handover your keys.

On move in day at your allocated time, please head to the office with your ID where one of the team will check this, hand over your keys and give you lots of important information about staying with Digs in your new home.

When we have handed over your keys we will email you with a link to your inventory, welcome pack and certificates. It’s really important you read through both of these documents carefully.

Anyone who is not present at the initial move in appointment will also receive the documents via email but will be able to book to collect keys from the office at a later date.

Key collection appointment times are available Monday to Friday 9.30 to 4.30
