We want your move in to be as seamless as possible and so have put together a little information below about the move in process:
Close to your tenancy start date the lettings team will contact you with all of the details you will need about booking a key collection appointment. You must book an appointment with us so we can ensure there is someone available to hand over keys .
On move in day at your allocated time, please head to the office with your passport where one of the team will check this, hand over your keys and give you lots of important information about staying with Digs in your new home.
You must provide the member of staff who is carrying out your move-in appointment an original passport – we are legally unable to accept scans or photocopies.
If you do not have a passport, there are some other forms of ID that we are able to take, please contact the team of check here for details of what other forms of ID are acceptable.This is legally required and without it we cannot handover your keys.
When we have handed over your keys you are then free to go straight to the property and start moving in!
Following key collection the team will email you with a link to your inventory, welcome pack and certificates. It’s really important you read through all of these documents carefully as they include important information about your stay in your Lincoln Digs home.
Key collection appointment times are available Monday to Friday 9.30 to 4.30 and must be pre-booked as we do get very busy during key move in dates.
